Canelo gives a **** about the belts.

If Canelo doesn't fight GG, who else is he going to fight at MW?

Even if he gets to BJS first and beats him, who else is he going to fight?

The pressure will be unbearable.

His JMW days are behind him and he's too small for SMW. So sooner or later he's going to have to fight GG at MW. Because unless either of them lose, once Jacobs and BJS have been taken out of the equation, there'd be nobody left who was relevant. So tell me what Canelo would do at that point? Fight CW's? Fight his WBO mandatories? The fans aren't going to pay to see him fight WBO mandatories. They're going to DEMAND that both guys meet. Oscar not willing to compromise does nothing for Canelo. Both guys need each other.

Yes they do need to fight each other and I do feel that the fight will happen. But ggg has the contract in front of him and won't sign so who's holding up the fight? 10 million is more than fair so what's the problem? In order to to become an A-side you have to beat one and ggg has never done that!

I would love to see GG fight DeGale in the U.K. at SMW.

And this isn't a knock against either fighter! The MW division just isn't currently that good. Also the reason I brought up the WW's for Canelo and not GGG is because Canelo hasn't fought a tru MW yet and GGG has been at MW since the Amateurs. We also saw one of the best WW's didn't stand much of a chance at MW. While Canelo can still make 154 (for now) and I said NO catch-weight!!

GGG moving up to fight SMW is obvious so no explanation there.

The onus was on Matchroom to promote the fight. But it didn't really need much promoting. Everyone was in shock and they were very excited.

Tru. Those Brits are helping keep this sport alive so I hope they keep it up!!! I brought up Roc Nation because of Jay-Z and their influence... Which he did jack sht to help out a fight. Oscar was promoting his @ss off for the fight.

K2 to me needs to step it up a lil more but I could be wrong. Oscar is EVERYWHERE ESPN, 7 city tours, etc. Schaefer is REALLY good as well. Al Harmon is SHT. But hopefully he uses his team like he used to. Which was Richard.

Vegas definitely brings in more money, but I think Oscar's really pushing for the fight to be in Texas.
