No. The original deal DLH/GBP offered GGG was for September, 2016. GGG/Loeffler turned that deal down. Now the earliest GBP is willing to fight them is in 2017.

I know some people don't like to hear this, but it's the truth. GGG does nothing but talk about how he wants belts and doesn't care about money. GBP offers GGG the highest $$ of his career (at least twice as much as he's ever made or will make) and he turns it down because...it's not enough?

There is a world of difference between the two fights.

Jacobs is a good fighter, but he's basically a glorified number 1 contender.

A GG-Canelo fight would be one of the biggest grossing fights of all time.

1) Criticizing De la Hoya for having worn women's clothing while being drunk and partying... WTH does that have to do with anything? Business wise he is sharp as a razor. And he was just as sharp as a boxer. And he is a great person as well. Are you anybody at all, compared to him and his achievements?

2) Calling Mexican people idiots and a "herd of sheep" because SOME Mexicans are Canelo fans. Mentioning the word "Mexican" three times. Somebody is a little biased and full of hate here, right? FYI most Mexicans aren't even into boxing, they are into soccer, almost 90% when it comes to sports, and the other 10% would be a mixture of several other sports, boxing included. 3) Calling Canelo De la Hoya's "Mexican sidekick". Sorry you dummy, but De La Hoya is American. He was born in California. He may be American-Mexican in his blood and probably has dual citizenship, but the guy always fought for the U.S. and got his Gold Olympic medal as an American, for the U.S. of course, in 1992. That's why he is called "the Golden Boy" FYI. Bottom line he is not a "Mexican" like Canelo is, you ignorant. AMOF most Mexican boxing fans dislike (or even hate) ODLH because he defeated JCC senior twice, when the latter was completely out of his prime, with drug addiction issues, and made a fool of himself in front of De la Hoya, to the point of quitting on the stool in their 2nd fight and never admitting that. To most Mexicans, De la Hoya isn't even a Mexican at all.

4) Calling Canelo a "pansy" because he chose to drop the middleweight belt (most likely because his promoter ordered him to do so, for business reasons, not because Canelo is afraid of GGG which I'm 100% sure he is not, and I am not even a fan of Canelo per se).

GGG earned 5 mil because it was Hearn writing the checks. K2 will never be able to pay GGG that much. Why do you think GGG jumped at the chance to fight Brook for 5 mil. The flat fee idea is not the same as Pacs 40 mil offer. Pac could still go out and fight anyone else and make over 20 mil. GGG could barely make 2 mil unless its another promoter writing the check
