It's so easy for you to say that.

    There are no excuses.

Canelo doesn't deserve most of the money from a fight that could do anything in the region of $80m.

It would not be an easy decision if you were either a professional fighter or a businessman.

        You love quoting that figure.

It's time for you to move on.

He's just done 500,000 buys with Brook.

Cotto-Canelo did just under $60m from 900,000 buys.

I believe GG-Canelo will definitely surpass that.

Also you ****** POS the fight wasn't even ON PPV here in the states. No one was going to PAY For a sht MISMATCH that even the WBC wouldn't even sanction...

Only a FULL BLOWN RTARD like you got excited about seeing a 160 lber fight a FKN WW. You probably played with yourself When the biggest mismatch in probably boxing history was announced between 100-1 underdog Dominic "On my way to Jail" Wade fought GGG.

Even Rod Salka had better odds than that against Danny Garcia.
Hahaah i am glad my post got you all upset f-ck face, so you did come out of your momz azzhole after all. But in the reality of things, 540k PPV > 220k PPV cu-nt face no matter how you spinn it, GGG had more PPV then your man cruzh you efin' phag0t, its a fact deal with it just like you coming out of a second hole lol.

You keep forgetting that PPV in the UK is only $20. It was bound to do numbers with that price tag, and a British challenger.

            • sure, ggg is running, I remember when he gave up the belt like a biatch rather than fight his mando as he had promised.

they cant pay GGG more than 10 million and Canelo over 20 million if it's only Canelo fans buying the ppv and GGGs 100k fans.
Maybe a co main event on Canelo undercard
GG is gaining popularity with each fight.

GG no longer has 100,000 fans.

He's just done 500,000 PPV's with Brook, and Brook isn't huge in the U.K.

A fight between GG-Canelo should definitely surpass the $58m that Cotto-GG generated.

Because it was 20 dollars in UK. Golovkin is a failure in USA ppv. His fans are broke boys.

Nowadays they see that and just want to get all the monetary details out the way as well as ensure that they match make each fighter correctly to ensure the future fight. I'd rather a guarantee of a great fight in 6-8 months that waiting around and witnessing all the failed negotiations.

K2 and Golovkin are playing the negotiations with GBP as if this is his only opportunity for a big money fight. I don't blame them. Trip isn't marketable to mainstream like Floyd and Manny are/were. He doesn't have a large national or ethnic following. They should fight for more cash, but recognize that there isn't career altering pressure on Alvarez to fight Trip now.
There's nothing wrong with planning ahead, but a flat fee, 12 months out, from a fight that will generate millions, is complete and utter horse manure.

There's a huge amount of pressure on Canelo to fight GG, and that will only increase when he officially moves up and fights at MW.
