I believe that Canelo will get in there with G but also ODLH has influenced him and he is following
Ofc fight will get made ,nobody is skiping that money, Oscar is sending a message "dont count for much more " its part of a game ,if K2 counts for 20 they are crazy.

We were comparing BJS with Kell Brook, not Khan. Khan was a bigger name than both, in the UK, when Hearn was trying to make the fight between him and Brook.

Thinking about it, BJS got around the same money for a domestic title fight as Kell Brook was making from his world title fights. That was because Bill fought Eubank Jnr.

And, in a weird way, Eubank also helped boost Kell Brook's name and earning power to a new level.

Hearn couldn't get any of the other WW title holders to come to the UK for Kell, because he couldn't guarantee them the kind of money they wanted. Kell Brook wasn't a big enough name for him to do that.

But the fight that DIDN'T happen, between GGG and Eubank Jnr, got a lot of attention from the main-stream media in the UK, and when Brook stepped in to replace Eubank, all that attention shifted to him.

I think they have to sign at least one fight if not 2 fights away. So GBP can help GGG build his name with the casual fighters. since K2 hasn't been doing very well at it and golden boy will probably be doing all of the work
they cant pay GGG more than 10 million and Canelo over 20 million if it's only Canelo fans buying the ppv and GGGs 100k fans.
Maybe a co main event on Canelo undercard

              • When did it become a travesty to plan ahead? In the 90s and early 2000s a guy would win a fight in a division and they say something like he is on a collision course with the other good fighter in the division. Nowadays they see that and just want to get all the monetary details out the way as well as ensure that they match make each fighter correctly to ensure the future fight. I'd rather a guarantee of a great fight in 6-8 months that waiting around and witnessing all the failed negotiations.

K2 and Golovkin are playing the negotiations with GBP as if this is his only opportunity for a big money fight. I don't blame them. Trip isn't marketable to mainstream like Floyd and Manny are/were. He doesn't have a large national or ethnic following. They should fight for more cash, but recognize that there isn't career altering pressure on Alvarez to fight Trip now.

Oscar's the biggest joke in boxing right now.

                  GG earnt $5m for Brook.

Why should GG accept that BS offer, which would make Oscar and Canelo significantly more? They don't deserve it.

Your as DUMB as ***!! If you think GGG next fight will do more than 500k.

Also you ****** POS the fight wasn't even ON PPV here in the states. No one was going to PAY For a sht MISMATCH that even the WBC wouldn't even sanction...

Only a FULL BLOWN RTARD like you got excited about seeing a 160 lber fight a FKN WW. You probably played with yourself When the biggest mismatch in probably boxing history was announced between 100-1 underdog Dominic "On my way to Jail" Wade fought GGG.

Even Rod Salka had better odds than that against Danny Garcia.

Yup! And GB is going to be doing all the WORK while K2 just has to put GGG in a cab to show up.
