These idiots think that "boxing is my primary income so ineed more money to help the people and my money from the congress is not enough to give that." Translate that he is broken when pacman is right, boxing is his primary income cause it gives him 20 mil in one fo amd buisnesses dont do that. some monthly paycheck isnt going to give enough to make some houses for otjer people

Because Pacquiao is known to wildly spend his money on ****** ****, has been reported to not really look after the money he's supposed to be getting after his fights, and is currently facing a tax bill worth over $70m in the Phillipines (the BIR is still after Pacquiao over the Marquez/Diaz/ODLH/Hatton/Cotto run and their cut in taxes; nearly ten years without being able to prove anything with a tax document makes it clear that nothing was paid in the first place, which is why the IRS is also starting to sniff around).

You add that he's going heavily into politics in a third world country (where wild personal spending on campaigns is simply a cost of doing business), and to act as if Pacquiao is sitting pretty is foolish.

Juan Manuel Marquez made significantly less money than Pacquiao did over his career, still has interest in fighting, but he's not going to waste his time in a fight camp to take on a "Jessie Vargas" type opponent.

If Manny Pacquiao really did have $100m in value, tucked away somewhere free and clear, why waste his time with a fight that literally near no one wants, and a fight that will likely end up doing **** business (if Pacquiao really is getting $20m on the fight, Arum is destined to lose his ass on another event, without having HBO subsidize any of the costs for him).
