I want GGG to fight the best.
I don't get caught up in the money, or why fights don't get made really.
What I don't do is blame the fighter because it's usually out of their control.
I also respect a fighters decision, i.e. Golovkin already said numerous times he wants to unify the division. So let him. I'm fine with it. I find it commendable. You might have a problem with that decision, but that's your problem.
What do I really want? I want prizefighting to change as a model so that fighters still get paid (prize) but all fighters are forced to face the best in their division on a constant basis like league sports. That's what I really want. Even the most elite fighting 8 times a year.Comment

This is what I mean, people would rather blame Golovkin for fighters being p*ssies than these p*ssy fighters themselves. Alvarez says "Yeah, I'll pay you 10 million flat for a fight that I might want to make in a year," and you blame Golovkin for the fight not happening.
It makes absolutely no sense at all. You're being ridiculous. You're supporting fighters using money to duck and then blaming the fighter they're ducking.Last edited by bojangles1987; 10-30-2016, 02:57 PM.Comment

He's a small middleweight. He doesn't need to move up.
You never complain about Hagler not moving up, WHY IS THAT?Comment

But it's not literally GGG who would pay them, it's the promotor who provides the purse iirc.
The whole negotiation part of boxing is ****** imo. I get it's a business but it gets in the way of fights happening when they should.
Yea, pay the fighters, but the opponents team has to be reasonable with what they want at the same time, or fights don't get made. And that's everyone's fault when it happens.Comment

3 million is probably half of what anyone can even pay for the Jacobs fight. Maybe more.

168 was an insignificant weight class when Hagler was fighting..Leonard won the 1st major title there AFTER the Hagler fight..do you history son..and i also never heard Haglers trainer claiming he can beat fighters at 175 like Sanchez has done over and over again..BACK THAT **** UPComment

larry is ******ed, we all know that. this people (GGG haters) say he isn't a draw so that's why he can't turn down any offer from canelo no matter how ridiculous it is. but then they want GGG (who according to them isn't a draw) to pay jacobs above 3 millons dollars when canelo (the face of boxing) only paid to someone like lara, who is on par with jacobs in terms of relevancy, 1 million dollar in a PPV fight (lara, another fighter that GGG is supposedly ducking and should pay that money too)
they are all moronsComment
