Both your answers are probably yes. We all want to see good fights, but it doesn't take a genius to realise those fights only happen if both sides compromise.

I don't get caught up in the money, or why fights don't get made really.

What I don't do is blame the fighter because it's usually out of their control.

I also respect a fighters decision, i.e. Golovkin already said numerous times he wants to unify the division. So let him. I'm fine with it. I find it commendable. You might have a problem with that decision, but that's your problem.

What do I really want? I want prizefighting to change as a model so that fighters still get paid (prize) but all fighters are forced to face the best in their division on a constant basis like league sports. That's what I really want. Even the most elite fighting 8 times a year.

When there was 1 title in the division the best had no choice but to fight the best. Now there are 4 and a guys can get a title without ever fighting anyone. Look at Sugar Ray Robinson, before he won the welterweight title he was a veteran and had veterans/former champs on his resume way before he got his shot. Fighters used to not be able to make **** until they go the title. Now fighters get paid nearly a quarter of a million (Spence) before they get a title shot. Reduce the belts down to two and keep the big money only for the title holders and you will see real fights get made.
