My first thought was taking a NFL football player, possibly the athletic freaks, like BO JACKSON

The guy has similar genes to Tyson, if not a little better...at 6'1, 222lbs by the time he entered college was incredible, he was a freak of nature:

It was said that he never lifted weights when he was young...when he went to college his coach told him to bench press...Bo didn't want to because he never lifted weights, nor did he care to...anyway, Bo had to, and he supposedly put up something like 375lbs the first time he lifted...after that of course, he didn't care to lift anymore...I think he didn't lift again until he got injured and tried to make his comeback.

I think he would have a good chance to have a great chin, great power, great speed, etc.

Many things to discuss about Bo, but I will let you guys pick.
375 forst time? unless you mean squats it sounds very much like hype

...Kendall is now boxing professionaly BTW. I would say somebody like Ray Lewis or some other insane linebacker in the NFL. How about a mean mother like Jack Tatum back in the day?

I think it was either in an interview or a book...his coach at Auburn couldn't believe what he saw either. It is actully pretty well known that the guy was incredibly strong.
A lot has to do with your genetic ability to have high hormone levels...guys like Bo, are like the Alpha-male of the male group...these guys are in the 1% category in testostorone levels, usually around 1000+...norm is anywhere from 250-750.

I remember reading an interview with Bo a couple of years ago talking about weightlifting..he said he was in the Gym, when a guy that was on "Juice" approached him to see who could bench more, Bo, not much into lifting weights, took the challenge and managed to lift more, despite being older and not on the "Juice"

I know other sports don't always translate if you saw Wes Unseld you'd know why I say him. He's tough not your typical "b-ball player" he had heart and wasn't immoble, he also had long arms which translates to reach. I just see him in a Ken Norton mold, but bigger.

I'm never sold on athletes making fighters.

That's all nice and chipper, but what happens when these guys get cracked with a punch in the face?

That's the thing...none of us know what the hell would happen.

Maybe had MArvin Hagler been an all-pro strong safety he wouldn't have been able to take a punch either...?

A could see a guy like Roy Williams making a good boxer. Athletic as all hell and has a lot of natural body strength.

                  lol, yeah.

I don't think Marvelous was the least bit athletic though. Definitely not in that regard.

and if ben wallace were a boxer he'd be a monster

apparently he can throw up like 450+ when he wants to easy.

Yea all this is hypothetically speaking, but Unseld and Wallace are two that are known to have heart in general. So if antbody could translate I figured they'd be the two and if they coulden't take a punch atleast they could try to intimidate they're opponents before being exposed.lol!I saw Wallace go after Artest when most people backed down or put up with it, doesn't mean he would be great but some good traits!
