As a matter of fact, although some of my favourite fighters are guys with high KO ratios, in the hypothetical scenario I presented I consider the guy who shows the fewest weaknesses - the Shutout guy - to have impressed more in many ways. Probably he'd be my winning pick if the two were to meet in fight #31.

The hypothetical scenario quoted above differs from your original question though. In this scenario, I may pick the shutout guy as well, but I wouldn't necessarily be more impressed by his win. In fact, I would be more impressed if the KO guy was able to KO the shutout guy, despite the defensive skills of the latter.Comment
