And that fight bombed, so neither guy was actually worth that kind of money.

Jacobs is trying to get retirement money before he takes the Golovkin risk. Hilarious that the same people justifying that are in here now saying "who cares how much he makes?" You all do, considering you're all for blaming K2 for not overpaying Jacobs.

Jacobs is avoiding GGG. GGG was not avoiding Sturm, Sturm was avoiding him.

      Understand?
does not make the regular title mean anymore..if it meant something for GGG then it means something for Jacobs

Oscar and K2 are negotiating now, of course. So what? does that make Jacobs worth 3 millions? haha.

He was offered $10 mil and a PPV percentage from the beginning. That interview i posted was the first one Oscar did. Before K2 responded. I don't understand where everybody is getting this idea that only a flat fee was offered. That's not true

And they are negotiating, whats your problem? The fight is in 10 months, not now. Jacobs Golovkin had a deadline and a date in december.

How much can you trust Oscar? This is what he was saying 10 days earlier, weeks after they supposedly made the offer:

He was offered eight figures and a percentage of the PPV. Loeffler wants a split in the whole promotion not just a percentage of the PPV. Meaning ticket sales, merchandise, sponsors, etc...

He wants a split that is similar to the finalized agreement for last year's mega-event between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao - which saw a 60-40 split of the revenue in Mayweather's favor.

I get you're angry and desperate but come on man, we all know what flat fee means.

Any theory that perhaps prolonging the Jacobs deal would result in the same scenario as Quillin did against Korobov? Meaning, the hope that Jacobs vacates the belt and not interested in the purse bid? I wonder if Loeffler feels that Haymon would advise Jacobs to drop his regular strap.
