Ok then. Less than a year if he didn't fight Canelo. I thought that was the question.

      Golovkin gets a 10mil check

20% goes to Abel (Abel divides rations for team...), 2 mil
      15% goes to K2, 1.5 mil
Herman Brothers get 10% 1 million

after IRS hits Gennady with that 35%, Gennady takes home about 3.6 million for fighting Alvarez

let's say GBP offers 10% PPV, and I say 1.2 mil PPV, 69 a pop, 84 mil in revenue, Team GGG takes 8.4 mil before taxes on that...

This is only bout 1 of a possible trilogy...

Nobody really talks about net when talking about fights. I am sure plenty of guys get flat out robbed by their managerial teams.

Bob Arum is mostly likely worse...

However, Abel is a scumbag, just draining and milking Gennady's success by doing what? Makes Gennady look the fool in his late career. His ego is apparent and disrespects John David Jackson's training as nothing, saying he ''made'' Kovalev the boxer he is...

When Gennady was boxing before arriving with Abel that style was always there. GGGs background speaks for itself. Abel is just cashing out and milking ggg's image and their fans never have a clue.. Abel should get no more than 10% that beer belly ****

but back to the point. I understand the NET, my point is the TRILOGY they're trying to sell. If Gennady beats Alvarez, obviously the second bout's negotiations and splits are completely different as Gennady has leverage on the win and the amount of PPV it made, no matter what.

Therefore, what's the big deal with making fight #1? The problem is, again, Gennady's mgmt being insecure and fcking up GGGs legacy. Loeffler and Abel are literally focusing on their own pockets. That's why Bernard and Oscar are the mafiasos bullying them. It's not Alvarez. Bhop and Oscar are OGs with money, they've seen it. Not no new kids on the block are going to dictate them. This is what bothers Loeffler, but Loeffler needs to understand his place, first...

BBB side is a idiot he never gonna make more than what canelo is offering him, their is no upside for ggg in his career, canelo is the peak of his career so bbb side needs to just stfu and take the fight and KO canelo if he thinks he can and stop trying to get that severance package.

If the trilogy starts late next year when is it gonna end? I understand the deal to be 10 mill for 11 months from now.

Maybe it could potentially be a Pac-Marquez thing drawn out forever but so many things can happen in the next 11 months.

Canelo might lose, GGG might lose too many variables involved.

Floyd did good sure and good for him. All I know is I didn't see him fight for a couple of years after he got paid, so as a boxing fan that isn't great when the best guy in the sport doesn't fight.

I can't say I blame him because it was the first time he got big money but as a fan it wasn't ideal.

The only fight he could take where he'd make close to half of that is the winner of Ward vs Kovalev. But we all know that ain't happening
It's the exact same principle, irrespective of the figures.

                      1. He got $5m.

                      2. What do you mean he fought on Brook's card? He signed to fight Eubank, and Brook was a last minute replacement for Eubank.

                      3. Since the Brook fight, GG now has a bigger fan base. A fight against DeGale for the SMW belts (if he beats Jack and Smith) back in Britain, would definitely make him over $5m.
