He better fight spence then. Would be ****** if he ends up just dropping the belt.

So Brook-Spence next May/June? That seems like a long stretch of inactivity for Spence. Maybe he better fight one before that. Opponent?

He'll fight before then. And people will complain about the quality of opponent because it isn't Thurman, Garcia, Porter, or Brook.

Look how mad he gets when someone picks against one of his favourite boxers.

              Pathetic.

Golovkin fans told me Brook was a middleweight who couldn't make welterweight anymore.

Kell Brook is likly looking for the biggest fight that can be made for him; from what I can tell, if he's not able to get Cotto or Alvarez, the biggest and best fights for him are currently at 147lbs.

Having to face Errol Spence Jr right off the rip isn't the most favorable way to go about things, but he's still got eyes on the Khan fight, and fight against the Thurman-Garcia winner, a possible Pacquiao fight and US TV interest in him (from HBO for certain fights, and Showtime generally) allowing the pocketbook to open up for bringing more fighters over to the UK for him (Porter, Berto, Peterson, though Bradley's high guarantee likely still leaves him out of the mix).

If he gets the Cotto fight, he likely give up the belt; if he doesn't Brook-Spence is another barnburner fight at 147lbs for fight fans to enjoy.

That's cool if he comes back to welter..

But don't tie up the belt for months and then not even comeback to welter..

I venture to say that if he can be healthy and make welter, he will go back to welter.. Too much $$$ at welter..
Both 147 and 154 are very deep divisions, but 147 has a lot more star power compared to guys like charro bros, j-rock, Andrade... The only way Brook goes to 154 is if it is for cotto or canelo
