So he is coming back to welterweight. If he had no intention of coming back down to welterweight why would he ask for a medical extension? I hope he isn't stalling and vacates after the extension

Could be dangerous going back to 147.

Seems dumb to me. Could end up losing to a lesser opponent just because he is weight drained.

Big fights for him there though. Winner of Garcia vs Thurman, winner of Pac vs Vargas, Spence, Bradley etc. Shame he moved up really.

Good fights for him at 154 too, but not the money or exposure unless Canelo hangs around (unlikely).

I did say he will likely be back at 147..... during this medical extension he needs to be in the gym slimming down. The more gradual the weight loss the better.... Still a real possibility he could get Roy'd against Spence though.
