Golovkin has legs like he had the Rickets as a kid.
You make a strong argument, did you vote yet?

        Of course not.

His team are currently in negotiations to fight Jacobs, and there's possible fights with Saunders and Canelo, as well as the fact that the best SMW's are all currently tied up at the moment.

I voted no. He should only move up if he chooses to do so and not because haters think he has a better chance of getting beat if he fights above his correct weight class. He is an older boxer who makes 160 with complete ease. He can try to get good paying fights at 160 with Canelo, Eubank, Jacobs or Saunders and I don't see any 168 pound fights any bigger than those. Ward and Kovalev are both full sized 175 pounders now and both terrific fighters. For even a great smaller middleweight to fight the winner of that fight is asking a bit too much.

I think he should move up after the Canelo fight.

I don't care much for the BJS fight though but I can see why he'd want all 4 titles.

Fighters move up when they can no longer make the weight. Most cases there's a lucrative fight in the upper division waiting for him. In this case, there is none.

It's ****** to move up just to please a tiny group of hateful fans that's never going to be your fans in the first place.

Nope. As long as Canelo campaigns at MW, he should remain there long enough to get a fight with him. When he beats Canelo, then he should move up.

NOPE not until Canlo, Jacobs and Billy Joe fight him then he can move up!

Of course most won't admit it but I do think it is people who want him to move up to protect fighters they're a fan of like I don't know...CANELO ALVAREZ!

So some of you trying to force him up and want Andre Ward to do Canelo's dirty work. You even got GBP using Andre Ward to deflect lol

GGG shouldn't move up until the best at 160 fight him! It is actually shocking that he still hasn't fought many of what is perceived as the "TOP MIDDLEWEIGHTS" in his Division! I want to see GGG vs Jacobs, GGG vs Canelo, GGG vs Billy Joe. Then you do have up and coming Middleweights, I would love to see GGG vs Sergiy Derevyanchenko one day as well.

So IMO people are trying to get him to move up but it is motives behind it! As a "Boxing Fan" why would you want him to move up and not see GGG vs Canelo? If he can make weight NO he shouldn't move up!

There are no lucrative fights for Gennady at 168 (with the possible exception of DeGale in the UK).

GGG is a small middleweight and has no problem making the weight. He could easily make 154 without being weight-drained. And he's already in his mid-thirties.

Jacobs, Canelo and Saunders are decent opponents 160 for GGG, if they will just be brave enough to fight him.
