I agree anticipation makes it bigger, but again not THAT much bigger. This is a ~1.2M PPV buy fight max. This fight isn't doing 2M buys or anything like that. This is no MayPac repeat. Its the biggest fight in the sport to make right now, but we are still in a transitional stage with finding a new guy to take the helm that Floyd & Manny earned with their W over Oscar. Canelo & GGG need each other to enhance their own notoriety in mainstream sports culture. Maybe GGG vs Canelo II could do 2M buys, but the first fight isn't.

If fight will be made in september 2017 and rematch in may 2018 im all in,but idk if it would boost them so much,its possible doe.

He wants a man in his mid 30's, who has been fighting consistently @ MW his entire pro career, to cut down to 155? Not to mention the ridiculous 90-10 purse-split in favor of cinnamon sugar ****. Why would Golovkin agree to that?

I'm pretty sure the reason they didn't fight in 2009 wasn't entirely down to Floyd. IIRC Arum, Koncz, Aliza, Pacquaio and Roach were all playing silly buggers during that time. Who can forget the bloodtest gate around those first negotiations? 'Manny's afraid of needles'
