If we're counting B-side numbers like the Brook fight. Canelo has the 2nd biggest fight in history.

          Canelo/Saunders would do great !

But Canelo is a MASSIVE star in the US, so it will happen there.

The struggling up-and-comers fight in the UK.

He's older and weighs less than Canelo and how many times have we seen people say Canelo needs to fight Kovalev and Ward to be a legitimate fighter?

He's also the only fighter in the world who is held to the satirical trash talk of his trainer like it's a contract signed in blood.

Ward (himself) promised by this year he would have Wladimir Klitschko's belt but that didn't count. Everything GGG's trainer says counts.

            The charade is getting old.

Back in the day I wasn't even a GGG fan but the bias against him has gotten too ridiculous.

The burden is on people his own size to challenge him as champion not for him to "create excitement" by committing televised suicide via 30 pound weight disadvantage.

So now you flip-flop to another excuse now it's proven he wouldn't be a dwarf.

He would absolutely be dwarfed by Kovalev and Ward at 175 or anyone else at 175. Kovalev comes into fights at 190+ lbs, Gennady weighs a few pounds over the mw limit 30 days from fight night.

There is a big difference between holding titles at 130 and 135 in your 20s (eating a chicken sandwich) and giving up 20-30 lbs of muscle, several inches of reach in your mid 30s.

Nobody finds these fights interesting. It's just some thinly veiled attempt to eliminate a perceived threat and the same people hate the idea of him having legitimate MW fights with jacobs/canelo.

You will literally see the same guy "make the rounds" on these forums: Make a big deal out of Gennady's trainer saying 175 years ago but ignore Ward saying he would be at heavyweight by now. Complain that Golovkin must move up for the names (mind you -- there are barely any names at 168 so this doesn't even make any sense) then make excuses for names like Canelo and Jacobs (and formerly Quillin, Martinez, Cotto, BJS, etc etc etc) ducking at 160. I really don't get it.

What is it about GGG that makes people hate him with such passion? Kovalev is out there calling guys apes and pieces of **** and laughing in your face and you consider him a distant #2 threat. What's GGGs secret? He really bothers the demographic.

Kovalev weighs in the mid 180s, Golovkin low 170s. Stop exaggerating the size difference. If Brook can jump 2 divisions then the "great" Golovkin can too. "Great" fighters do great things, Golovkin has yet to do anything. His fans and trainer says he can beat these 175 fighters, but when it's suggested they make excuses.

As for nobody finding Golovkin against Kovalev/Ward interesting, you're out of your mind. Either of those fights would be MASSIVE.
