You do know that a lot of fighters had already been sign with Haymon when they were promoted by Golden Boy. Haymon more than likely advised them not to be tied down to a promoter. GB and Schaffer went on promoting them on a fight by fight basis collecting money. They were receiving a flat fee from Floyd for doing his fights on a fight by fight deal. Regardless if they were signed or not, GB was making a lot of money. GB pretty much lost out on a lot of money when Oscar made a big deal about it. Lost out on all the millions from the Floyd/ Manny fight as well.

Funny that Floyd didn't bite. Schaefer was looking for investors and Mayweather chickened out, kept his hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank intact. This despite his talk of hiring Schaefer, the guy "who built GBP from the ground up." I always knew TBE's all talk.
