Enjoy retirement Floyd. Top 20 of all time and one of the very best of this era. That might be more than yoiu ever believed you could achieve

shame on haymon for giving us porter vs thurman for free and shame on haymon for giving us frampton vs leo for $6! How dare haymon not rip us off like idiots who pay $60 for ggg vs lemieux or canelo vs angulo, canelo vs khan or manny vs bradley 3 or manny vs vargas, manny vs algieri, manny vs rios..... How dare he keep giving fans free fights for 3 years running without even ripping us off once for a mismatch ppv... Haymon should learn from golden girl and top prank how to rip off fans more with mismatch ppv's what a dumb*** haymon is....... He hates fans sooo much..... If he loved fans he would keep ripping them off with mismatch ppv's twice a year!!!

The author is a fighthype reporter, so he had to find a way to cover Mayweather in some way. I understand that, but why not cover him as Floyd the promoter, instead of the retired boxer?

Fighthype ran a series of articles for months about Mayweather planning to hire Schaefer, the guy "who built GBP from the ground up," according to Floyd.

What had happened with that? Did Mayweather even offered anything to Schaefer? Apparently, Richard got tired of waiting and organized his own company.

So what is Floyd's next move as a promoter?

He would probably have come out of retirement if GGG moved up to 168 so they would stop bugging him about this match up. He doesn't want to fight GGG but feels pressure from TV, Media, and boxing fans.

Obviously, we're not over it yet. The media keeps writing and we keep reading and commenting. It doesn't say anything, but will have 100+ comments. Meanwhile, important fights are on the rise and the comment sections are desert wastelands. Boxing fans are weird...

Pacquiao fighting Bradley & Vargas killed any hope for a rematch. We've seen him beat Bradley 3 times. Nobody knows Vargas & it's not even on HBO PPV. Pacquiao needed to convince the public he could beat Floyd in a rematch. He should've fought Crawford and if he beat him that would've convinced the public he could best Mayweather in a rematch. That's the only fight that could've gotten him $100 mil. McGregor is the only fight that could do it now.

Mayweather is out of paid passes. Mayweather without PEDS would have been laid out by Maidonna leveled club fighters. Pacquiao would destroy him in the ring with VADA testing

Pretty sure Floyd is promoting a unification fight in January

Isn't that better news for fans than this repetitious crap about him coming back? Reading news about Mayweather the promoter is far more interesting and more conciliatory than about polarizing nonsense only few fans care about.

If fighthype is smart they should write things about potential matchups Mayweather is working on. Who would not be interested if you are a boxing fan especially in the current situation?
