The more Ward yapping his mouth the more he tips the scale for KKK win. Ward biggest problem is that he has no power. He did not have at 168 and it will be more evident at 175. If KKK feels that Ward cant hurt him, maybe he will finish the fight the same way GGG did it against Brook.

One overlooked aspect of this fight is that while Kovalev has much more of a bully reputation than Ward, Ward is a much better bully in the ring. He knows how to muscle fighters around. That will make it even harder on Kovalev if he gets frustrated and sloppy.

Ward has more than adequate power to get Kovalev's respect and possibly even drop him when Kovalev's off balance. I think he does drop Kovalev in this fight.

yessir! Andre has one of the best jabs in the game. When Kov steps back in that straight line to reset, Ward will follow with heat right down the center at him. Ward's jab will be hard for Kov to figure out as in is it to the head or body?

Kovalev's jab is much improved since hitting the world class level, both to the head and body. Should be interesting to see whose jab wins out in this fight.

Half of you Ward nutthuggers will jump off the bandwagon after he gets beat. The other half will jump off the bandwagon when they realize Ward is not black. For that matter, you could put Andre ward, Virgil hunter, and James prince together and you only get like 3/4 of a black person.

More fights like this please.I don't expect this to go too long , after getting hurt himself I look to K. to finish Ward inside eight, just too powerful BUT Ward can shake him.

He's not wrong. This fight could get very interesting down the stretch if Kovalev is missing and frustrated.

^That's been my prediction for the past year. People have a hard time envisioning scenarios that they haven't seen before but Ward's defensive stats are such that we have to assume Kovalev is going to miss a lot more than usual. That makes a fighter tired and frustrated. As does grappling when you have no inside game.
