I think Pac is still good enough to be in the picture. I've got Pac, Thurman, Brook, Spence, Bradley, then Garcia, but until Pac and Bradley start fighting non TR guys it will be hard to tell.

Thats something one would have hoped the judges had caught. Your absolutely right...thurman's corner practically cost him the fight. Doing a reasonable risk analysis with no great understanding needed: For Thurmond to fight and risk being KO'ed by a big shot was a necessary risk to take given the judges.

      • ***ing A man, after 9 rounds I was so pumped up for Thurman. He was boxing, doing damage and wzs looking amazing in there. After 9 rounds he was up easily without a shadow of a doubt 7-2.

But *** them last three rounds were a major let down. ***ing Birmingham did a ****y job with his instructions. I understand he wanted Thurman to be cautious and box but *** express the need to still win the rounds. With Judges you never know.

I gave Garcia the last three on the strength of Thurman turning into Runtime Thurman and not engage.

I likr Keith and loved his focus and his boxing and intensity those first nine rounds but his corner almost gave that thing away.

Thurman is known for doing this. He did it vs Bundu too. But if he's still doing work and doing better than his opponent I have no reason to bash his movement. Trust Birmingham's judgement.

That dude coasted cause he could he took no unnecessary Risks because he didn't need to.
Coasting was a big risk. It almost cost him the fight. As a matter of fact, I am curious who the last deciding judge had winning the twelfth round because, if he had thurman winning the round, which I did, then it very nearly cost him the fight indeed!

I don't know....Tell ya what I would go as far as to concede that point if the last judge who had it by a round didn't give Thurman the twelth...a round which Thurman should have won! If Thurman needed that round to win then his strategy almost did cost him the fight especially because judges hate to score rounds a draw.

My theory is that he thought he won cause the score (115-113) of the last card matched the score of the card that was in his favor.
