Despite the avoidance of a Golovkin fight, Billy does have 2 wins over decent comp and no defeats. His inactivity in the last year keeps him from being B+.

    Chris Eubank Jr; B-
Narrowly lost to BJS, but showed comparable ability. Has been extremely active with 23 fights in 4 years.

    Saul Alvarez; A-
His sole loss coming to Mayweather when Canelo was still green, Canelo has a solid victory over Cotto 2.0, narrow win over Lara, and has dominated everyone else.

    Erislandy Lara; A-
Aside from a controversial Canelo loss, has never truly been defeated. Detractors bring up Angulo but foolishly ignore the fact that he was able to get back up and finish the man who dropped him. Finished Trout (who no one looks good against).

I could go on at 154, a division which is really heating up. But, I won't because I think it's wrong for Golovkin fans to be eyeballing smaller competition rather than looking at 168lb opponents.
I think GGG might actually get some better fights from 154.I'd like to see Andrade at 160 one day along with Canelo.Hopkins had to put up with Joppy ,Keith Holmes and Howard Eastman before he got a big one from Trinidad who looked better at 154 really.I think Jack is ready to go at Supermiddle and I think Degale would be an easier fight for Golovkin than some think. He likes to sit on the ropes and doesn't like brawlers.I watched him on the undercard of Cleverly Bellew one really suffer against an unhearalded pole who dragged him into a slugging match.Would you see as many do Degale as his toughest current challenge? I'd love to see this fight. As long as Degale didn't just become some guy who lost to Groves straight after.

This is exactly what you did with Ward a while ago, you created a thread to completely discredit all his wins so you're a usual suspect yourself you dumbass.

        It's too bad Canelo ducked.

          True. Lol.

I agree with nearly all of that, particularly how well GGG would do at 168. 154 has some slicksters with pop on their punches. I don't think that's a wise idea for a power puncher on the back end of his prime to get mixed up with fast, powerful guys.
No one at 168 is particularly fast or powerful. DeGale has a little speed but is wildly inconsistent, having lapses in every fight. But, the aura of dominating a division and then going up and dominating the next is a powerful thing. Saying a division is garbage is not unreasonable as it sometimes happens, but if Golovkin sweeps 2 divisions, they simply can't take that away from him. I certainly wouldn't. Weak or not, 168 is a step up in size and beating larger men always deserves credit.

"Golovkin is/was great in the UK, so popular, ranked #1 p4p...sold the 02 in 11 minutes, wasn't because of Brook, and the boos during Golovkin were metaphorical boos from the crowd, it was all intentional. Groves and DeGale don't make any sense for Golovkin in the UK, such as the 02 or Wembley. The roaring Londonites during Groves' walkin in any fashion were are all metaphorical chants for Froch. So no, I don't think Brits would get the idea of Golovkin fighting DeGale or Groves at 168. Of course it could help us to continue stir Gennady against such competition, but no, it's not a good financial plan. It's all what Gennady and Abel think. I gotta go, someone just paged me as I'm still selling condos on the low ..." - Loeffler

Sadly, more fighting is being done between the fans of GGG and Canelo, than the two men themselves.

                    Classic thread.
Haters got to hang out somewhere i guess.
So the guy fights C level opposition... no need to get your knickers in a knot over it. You bunch of poofs acting like he ****ed ya boyfriend or something.

Do remember the only belt he doesn't have is the ****ty wbo, same one that floyd threw in the bin.

Good plan to avoid the tough fights though, become the unified champ!

I'm not gonna lie, the opponents of GGG are looking awful after he fights them, i don't know if he damages them or it's just that they aren't that good.
