Wladimir Klitschko always finds a way to be even more disappointing than expected.

Wow, Klitschko had a calf injury in September of last year and postponed the Fury fight then. He now claims a calf injury again this year, after he couldn't get a fight for the WBA strap against AJ!? He should have come up with something more original, so maybe we'd believe him: "It is zee bach, vich I have hurt vile trrying to duck Anzony Jozhua"

I hate to say it but it might be time Klitschko to hang it up at this point. He steps in with a top contender next year and he's going to sleep.

But this is what is wrong with boxing and killing the sport... A year has passed and none of the top guys had major fights
Pretty much hey, I feel foolish for getting my hopes up thinking it was going to get better.

I think I might agree with the people here saying Wlad should think about retirement soon. Maybe a couple more going away fights, one in Germany and one in Ukraine. Put some guys in front of him that he can tear apart and let his fans bask in it. A fight against Glazkov or Rudenko in Kiev would be a pretty cool way to go out. And LMAO at the thought of Oquendo as a world champ in 2017, literally makes me feel like throwing up.

Damn just when I was getting excited about the HWs it's all come crashing down this year. Maybe next year will be better...**** it can't be worse I don't think lol.

I hope hearn can get pulev at this point, I don't really fancy the price fight, though maybe it settles that little sparring story... hey, whyte has came good off the back of a big joshua flattening, price may be thinking the same, talk up big domestic dust ups afterwards. Price-whyte in spring if whyte beats chisora on the 10 dec co-main, and if it goes to plan for AJ and he flattens Price, Price and Whyte get to fight it out who the best to get beat by AJ is.

As for wlad, he should just retire if there isn't going to be an AJ fight, or anyone of note. I'd fancy seeing Wlad in with Wilder to see how it panned out.

Hopefully next year we get to see some of the big HW names mix it up together. /wishing

HW boxing sucks. I didn't like the idea of Wlad avoiding Joshua to fight Lucas Browne, but I wanted to see the fight nonetheless.

I just don't get his objective. He will be 41 coming off a very long hiatus, loss and series of injuries when he fights next

Why does a guy who held every belt for 10 yrs suddenly become obsessed with the lowly WBA version?

"Beat the man to be the man" no longer applies because in truth Fury is now the man

                    Just hang them up
