I would prefer to see Canelo fight Andrade, J-Rock, either Charlo Bros. Or even Thurman.

The only reason I would want to see Canelo BEAT Lemuix is because of the select idiots that actually think he will win...And my wallet would be getting filled with their tears and $$$$.
Canelo against J Rock or Andrade would be awesome!! I think he would batter Lemieux pretty convincingly although I do like Lemieux's aggression. In fact, I got offered tickets to the Rios vs Lemieux fight this past Saturday but couldn't make it. I find boxing in our city has become a little stale with Bute becoming shot, Pascal becoming shot and Stevenson not fighting anyone of note. Lemieux was massively hyped around here but that kind of ended with his losses to Rubio and Alcine. Peace.

Yeah I don't think Lemuix has much of a chance at all against Canelo. Lemuix is maddening to be a fan of??? ONe fight he looks real good and then the next he looks out of shape and flabby around the belly. He's already had a CW fight canceled because he couldnt even make weight and this one started looking the same way.

I say that because there are plenty of fighters, who are just as good as Lemieux (Charlo, Williams, Andrade) who would love to go up 4lbs. for a shot at Canelo, and let's not forget that a Cotto rematch would be very lurative too!
...They are all better than Lemieux!!

Cant blame him and his management for trying to land a money fight with boxing's cash cow with out actually earning the right to such a fight.

The reality is that he might very well get chosen over others simply because he is very beatable.

The hype has always been the biggest issue regarding Lemieux.
What he brings just does not come close to matching the hype if one is truly objective.

Against a certain level of comp he can look spectacular. Step him up to the truly quality guys in his division and he gets exposed.

For my money one of the best fighters I have seen come out of Canada has to be Matthew Hilton!!

Yeah no kidding catch-weight is ruled out. This chubby **** can barely make 160.

I don't think he will fight either of them next, he will likely fight Cotto..... he will not fight Cotto at 154 AFTER moving to 160 to fight a middleweight, which is why I think there is a distinct possibility that he could fight Cotto next.

Put it this way..... if he EVER fights Cotto - and that is a LOT of money on the table - then Canelo will likely fight him next.

The Charlo's would be an option if Cotto fell through and Canelo decided to wait 1 more fight before moving to 160.

All I meant is, he will make good fights no matter what.

And I would favor Canelo over all of those guys.

At 160 NOW, I would slightly favor Golovkin, but not by much, Canelo would be right in that fight..... after 2-3 fights at 160 I will favor Canelo who has shown much more than Golovkin against much better opponents.

Canelo not ready for anyone decent at 160, he will run from any challenge out there. Canelo scared of GGGs leftovers at 160. You can bet on it, he'll fight another undersized guy.

                  Amen, I liked Hilton.

                  The Fighting Hilton Brothers.

He was in 1 one of my favorite fights

I think there were 4 brothers, Matthew was the best by far, but from memory I think one of the other brothers also won a title or got a title shot.
