Imagine if Golovkin packed on 15 lbs of quality weight. He would look just as big. The size difference between 160 and 168 is like that of 140 to 147 its a whole new size of fighter. Even bigger when it is from 160-175.

I don't really take size into account too much, Golovkin is strong as hell and hits like a cruiser. He can take the big boys.

I don't think he beats any of these 3 however.

    • I fks with Abel as a trainer and all that but he's like a less profane version of angel garcia. What he said about Ward is the gospel but that'll be ignored because he went out of his way to take bigger shots at other people which is part of the problem. Folks will turn right away and attribute that to Golovkin who is not quoted here at all. I understand believing in your fighter but keep some of that in the gym.

      • More Golovkin talk. This man was last seen in the ring with a Welterweight but of course the reigning WSC (Woulda Shoulda Coulda) Champion could beat the best Light Heavyweights in the world. Golovkin is good but I doubt he could beat Artur Beterbiev......but I look forward to seeing him in the ring with Sergi, Andre and/or Adonis. However we know that's not going to happen.

if he cannot beat any of those 3, then he cannot "take the big boys"..... 168 is likely possible.

          • Tell this dude to shut his trap. Try securing an entertaining fight like Jacobs. GGGs a overrated *****. Beats a WW then calls out Saunders? 10 years and counting "cleaning" out the division. Ward would devour you. Kovalev would stop you. Stevenson would put you in the morgue. Fight with Eubank failed. Seems fight with Jacobs failing. Fights with Willie Monroe Jr, Kell Brook, and Dominic Wade got done rather quickly. Nice.God who the **** respects him or his team?

            • As a big GGG fan , you must admit its crazy talk , please .... could it be that he sees something else in the Gym then we see in fights ? maybe , is it likely ? HELL NO , we see GGG the fighter in the ring and we all can assume that Kovalev fighting from the outside is going to pop his head and spill it on the floor , how is he going to stop Kovalev 1-2 ? how is he going stop Kovalev straight right ? probably with his head .....
I don't mind Abel saying crazy stuff as he is tied to GGG from a business side of things , but you guys needs to relax .... there is 0 evidence to prove us that GGG can jump 2 weight classes and take the elite fighters there , really 0 ...... let him test the waters @168 to see if we even got a chance to go the distance with those 175 elites.
When Floyd says he will beat GGG you guys go crazy , but when GGG is suppose to beat Kovalev and Stevenson it makes sense ? of course if i had to bet i would give the fighter of the decade a better chance to beat GGG rather then GGG beating 175 Elites.
Whatever ...... fanboys are fanboys for a reason i guess.

..and Tua is only 5´10 so if Stevenson fought Tua at HW the pimp would actually be bigger.

Heavyweight isn't a specific weight you have to be more specific.
