Would had it been any different had Cortez not destroyed Hatton's gameplan? going in to the round 7 I had floyd up in the cards by one round, but then during that round that's when Cortez did not let hatton do his inside game by warning him of a deducted point if he do so.

And from that moment on that's when Hatton began leaping in three feet from Mayweather to land some shots, and obviously, he koed him.

These kinds of threads speak for themselves. Cortez didn't make or break this fight. Even tho he didn't win, he gave Floyd one of his best fights......and its hilarious because people say Floyd fights boring but this fight and the rest of the fights in his career, from Shane getting those two moments in round two then fighting afraid, to Manny facing Chris Algeri and was bouncing around and then faced Floyd and fought cautious....besides Maidana and Hatton, everybody fought tenative because like Berto said on the breakfast club, they stop pressing because you din;t wanna get embarrassed.

Not for nothing tho??? Why doesn't Kenny Porter show Hatton fights to Shawn to tell him to fight that way>>

Me too..it was Ricky at his best.

Hatton tried to change his style and it cost him against Pac.

Manny could not handle the Ricky Hatton that Mayweather fought.
