Look back: The outcome of Mayweather vs Hatton

Would had it been any different had Cortez not destroyed Hatton's gameplan? going in to the round 7 I had floyd up in the cards by one round, but then during that round that's when Cortez did not let hatton do his inside game by warning him of a deducted point if he do so.

And from that moment on that's when Hatton began leaping in three feet from Mayweather to land some shots, and obviously, he koed him.

So would the outcome be any different If Cortez just let hatton be with his gameplan? Discuss!

No, in the fight hatton was ****ing Mayweather on the inside, he would rush in, eat a jab on the way in but would dominate in the inside and the clinch. And then in the round seven, Hatton did something Illegal which he low blowed mayweather and hit him in the back of the head when they were doing the inside game. Cortez warned him for that but Hatton got angry and said "Kiss my ass" which Cortez then stopped ricky from doing his inside game on the blackmail that he would get deducted a point if he rushes in because he might possibly low blow mayweather again, and that's when ricky started leaping in and gets caught with left hooks all the way to the tenth round.

You might want to rewatch the fight. Hatton got eaten up on the inside.

Hatton maybe does a bit better but still gets battered. His problem is that Mayweather is stronger and more skilled on the inside as well as being much better on the outside

He just isnt good enough. And he wasnt big enough to offset his lack of quality.

Cortez ruined the fight, Hatton takes it easily with a fair ref.

Would have been more fun with Micky Vann as ref.

the crowd yelled, ''there's only ONE Joe Cortezie!!'' while Hatton received that check hook and got layed down.
