i had a lot of respect for De La Hoya before the fight, when i actually saw him looking like a zombie i knew he'd lose the fight.

He must've thrown up like a diva to make the weight.
Disgraceful fight, even more disgraceful that this was Pedquiao rise to stardom.

You couldn't have seen him at the weigh in and given him a shot. He was practically dead.

Fun fact: Pac really didn't drain him.... Oscar was coming down to 147 too fight Floyd in the rematch but Floyd retired so he fought Pac instead.

Oscar should remind the industry in these interviews that he took an IV for this fight...he cheated his win like Floyd...an amazing performance by Oscar...

He cheated his win? He lost even with the illegal IV. Roach said the day before the fight Oscar looked like a ghost, and could not even run a lap in the gym without stopping. He knew the IV was illegal but knew it wouldn't matter. Floyd, by the way, did the IV legally.

Its good for DLH to finally admit him losing in that condition is not a fair comparison to Floyds win over DLH. Hatton was also severely drained, as Roach mentioned him running in the hot sun the day of the weigh in. Pac got too much credit at the time.

LOL Drained? Hatton himself said that he was in great shape and that he was going to knock Pacquiao out because he was boasting how Pacquiao doesn't belong in the 140 and should move back, but instead gets GTFO, and it took floyd 10 rounds to do it after Cortez saved his ass from Hatton's inside game.

And Also, Dela Hoya moved down 1 weight class for Pacquiao and Pacquiao moved 2 WEIGHT CLASSES for Dela Hoya, so who gets the disadvantage now? LoL You need some facts on your head son.

Wrong. Floyd officially announced he would be retired in June of 08 soon after Oscar fought Forbes. DLH offered Hatton first, then Pac. He knew there would be no rematch for Floyd.

                      PTI......

its easier to move up than down. rjj moved up to hw, for example, and easily handled ruiz. moved back down and was never the same.
