ODLH should have worn fish nets and high heels to throw manny off off his game.

whole new level? Which ''catchweight bouts'' from Alvarez were title bouts? Which little guys move up?

You do know it was Cotto's team who offered the 145 catchweight bout and after the fight the reporter asked "Was the Catchweight trouble you?"

And Cotto answered "No, I was in the best shape in my life, I was able to eat, I had a good camp, just wasn't my night."

ok genius, name 1 fighter ever who has had more consecutive catch weight fights than Canelo?? He spent 3 yrs straight fighting at catchweights. And most recently he made little amir khan move up to be slaughtered. Before Saunders, his last fight in an official weight class was in 2013 vs trout.

Bullshit. Team Manny wanted him down to 143, and he said the lowest he'd budge was 145.

false. Cotto debated that he did not want to fight at 145 and if it were to be for his title it'd be at 147. Eventually he caved on this demand and paid for it. Even roach said earlier this yr that the reason cotto did catchweights vs Martinez and geale is because roach did it to him yrs ago and he remembered the effect it had.

Yeah, Oscar was cherry picking and was the favorite to win but once everyone saw the result and how much the weight drain impacted the fight, it became a popular demand to negotiate by fighters who had the leverage to do so.

I respect Oscars honestly at times. He's a pretty honest and humble guy except when it comes to his puppy Canelo

                      look at you getting spooked!

                      May vs Alvarez - 152 catch - 1
Angulo vs Alvarez - was set for 154, wasn't sold as a catchweight bout, Alvarez paid his fee
Lara vs Alvarez - both agreed to 155, the same guy that's been asking to fight Golovkin at 160...yeah ''155'' is the boogieman
Kirkland vs Alvarez - 154.5 ''ohh 155!!! the boogieman!''
Alvarez vs Cotto - a Cotto who's never come over 155 at 160 sactioned bouts
Alvarez vs Khan - a taller Khan agreeing to Alvarez, both come in at 155, the Pakistani's first fight above Welter and hitting 155 where Cotto hasn'T averaged at 160 bouts
                      Alvarez vs Smith - 154 - catchweight?

The lesson of this story is to not exaggerate misguided catchweight information, because when the times comes all the 'ducking' theory will be sunk after Alvarez beats Golovkin.

                      styles make fights.
