Rios must obviously be fairly durable but I've always thought Lemieux just had power and even then it's vastly overrated, he has a nice KO percentage as boxrecers will tell you but he has no KOs against top ten foes.

Rubio beat Lemuix and he was KTFO in Round 1 before.
Alcine beat him and he was KTFO in Round 1 TWICE.

Now i can imagine Canelo is actually taking that fight, probably even trying to drain Canelo down 1-2lb which will totally weaken him. The beating he took from GGG surely changed him alot. Not many fighters can come back after getting destroyed by GGG.

You realize he's never been stopped. Lemiuex is a decent fighter, former world champ, and very few want to fight him. Lemiuex is 35-3, 32 KOs in the World Level of boxing. It's why it's highly unlikely we'll see him in the ring with Canelo.
Rios is a rugged tough fighter, but he is tough competitor.
For many boxing fans such as yourself everything is black and white. You never take styles into account, or other situations. Lemiuex underwent surgery in July to repair a torn meniscus, then started training and this was his return.
You probably didn't even know he was coming off of an injury. This is a perfect example of boxing fans today. They are all too willing to denigrate top fighters while sitting at home at their computer screens.Jesus Christ the nuthugging from the ggg fans is unbelievable

The same thing that happened to Chavez when he went up in weight and fought someone his own size , will happen to Canela.
He has been feasting on past their prime smaller guys for too long , the minute he steps in the ring with any legit middle weight with punching power he is done.
So basically , he wont take this fight.Originally posted by LoadedWraps View PostOn paper sure, looking at how they fight, but I actually consider this an exception to the rule as far as stylistically being tailor made for someone. Canelo has low ring IQ and is slow and flat footed, he doesn't have the legs or jab of GGG to outbox him at a distance and control the distance, I don't see how Canelo can keep LeMule off of him, and I see him getting dropped like a dirty diaper win or lose.Originally posted by Golovkin View PostLOL Canelo will DUCK LEMIEUX like crazy. Lemieux stops Canelo, I would put my head in a noose and willing to be executed if Canelo wins. Thats how confident I am. Lemieux will batter Canela.

Lemieux looked really out of shape here. He needs to stop partying and focus more on his boxing career.
