My uncle (guess who?) has fought both of them, he sais that they both have great left hooks, Tito's has more power, DLH's is less orthodox and more difficult to time..... he also stated that Tito's right hand has more power than DLH's.

Mayorga has a huge ego so of course he is going to say that DLH hits harder than Tito, because he was KOed in the 6th not the 7th.

Mayorga is obviously damaged by the Tito fight. Just like Vargas, Mayorga took alot of hard shots that possibly permanently damaged mayorgas ablility to take a shot. Vargas has never spoken the same since Tito. Mayorga may also never be able to handle the punch that he was previously able to.

DLH always seems to outsmart his opponents, and since he is my son's favorite boxer ever, Ihave to root for him. I was suprised at Oscars quickness actually;

I've always assumed Oscar hit harder than Tito.. Oscar's left hook isn't mentioned as much as it should be.

I beleive Mayorga in the sense that I beleive that the punches you do not see coming, hurt the most. Mayorga saw most of Tito's punches coming but Delahoya is really fast with his hooks. That first hook that knocked Mayorga out really caught him by surprise. I had to watch the replay just to see what hit Mayorga. After that it was curtains.

Damn interesting news.I think DLH probably does not hit harder per say but the punches were coming in faster and more often so it may have felt harder who knows.Either way we all know DLH can punch and has a left hook that is a thing of beauty and is even better now that he follows it up with the Straight right so often.

I think it might be mayo having being a bit ruined by tito.

The reason I am su****ious about it:
if that's the case oscar fought the wrong fight when he fought tito. He could have just stood and traded at times, being the more accurate puncher of the two, and having an at least equal chin.

we all know DE la hoya has a better chin than tito,but I still say tito hits harder, just ask Vargas, Campas, Oba Carr just a few fighters that both de la hoya and trinidad has faced, but dont get me wrong, there have been fast stoppages by both, its hard to say for a fact that Dlh hits harder, my money is on Tito
