HOLY ****!!!! OSCAR HITS HARDER THEN TITO!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah sure, no wonder De La Joto ran from TITO and when the b*tch got "robbed" he didn't even chase after TITO for a rematch, Joto only went after TITO big time when Trinidad got ko'd by Hopkins.

De La Hoto hits so much harder than Tito that he ran away from Tito for 4 straight frggin' rounds.

No tengo excusas, se paró y me verguió”, señaló un resignado Mayorga, mientras se tomaba un descanso junto a su esposa en su suite del Hotel MGM.
TRANSLATION(by some guy, not me): "what can I tell you brotha, dude whooped my ass. He got me hard and I feel embarrassed for the bull**** I said, but what are you going to do. I insulted that sonofabitch so much, but it was me who backpeddled. I got no excuses, he stood there and whooped my ass."

“Ese golpe del primer asalto nos cambió todos los planes que teníamos. No pensé que De la Hoya se iba parar a pelear. Nuestra táctica era seguirlo. Pero al golpearme, me hizo ir hacia atrás y no pude enderezar la pelea”, admitió el ex monarca, quien tras el combate salió a dar un paseo por los casinos del MGM, junto a su esposa y Roberto Durán (hijo).
TRANSLATION: "that punch in the 1st round changed all of our plans. I didn't think DLH was gonna stand and fight. Our gameplan was to follow him, but when he hurt me, he made me backpeddle and I couldn't reverse the fight"

“De la Hoya pega más que Trinidad, pero además me jodió con su velocidad”, explicó el nica.
TRANSLATION: "De la Hoya hits harder than Trinidad, but also screwed me with his speed"

Well, there you have it, no bs exuses like other fighters. And DLH does indeed hit harder than Tito, if anyone would know, its Mayorga.
Tito ruined Mayorga's punch resistance, so he probably does think that, but his chin left him after that beating from tito, he was shot before dlh ****ed him up.

I've always assumed Oscar hit harder than Tito.. Oscar's left hook isn't mentioned as much as it should be.

Since when does every1 believe everything Mayorga says. Man what is with it with people. Vargas said Tito hits harder than Oscar....but that don't matter? Oscar hurt Mayorga because the punches were too fast and Mayorga never seen them coming, add that on top of Mayorga being absolutely destroyed by Tito 2 fights ago too.

Tito destroys people and ruins their careers, then Oscar takes the shot left overs. Oscar robbs someone of a victory, then Tito easily out points him and drops him in the process?(Whitaker).

Also keep in mind Mayorga fought Tito at 160 and Oscar at 154. If Mayorga fought Oscar at 160 then Oscar wouldnt have been nairly as strong.

Mayorga also said that Vernon Forrest was the hardest puncher he ever faced...And although Oscar made quicker work of Mayorga, Tito destroyed him. I think Mayorga was just overwhelmed over the speed of DLH than the power. I take nothing away from Oscar though, both were great performances by great fighters.

if you think the whitaker who fought tito was remotely similar shape than the one who fought dlh (which was past pea's peak), you got to get your head & eyes checked.
