Anybody who thinks Lemieux would win this fight is a casual boxing fan. Canelo has faster hands, better ring IQ, and better combinations. Easy work for canelo.KO by the 9th round.

The same thing that happened to Chavez when he went up in weight and fought someone his own size , will happen to Canela.
He has been feasting on past their prime smaller guys for too long , the minute he steps in the ring with any legit middle weight with punching power he is done.
So basically , he wont take this fight.

Anybody who cared to watch the fight Canelo-Angulo can easily see that Canelo-Lemieux would be the same thing. Lemieux is tailor-made for Canelo. Going forward all the time, almost no defense at all, flat-footed, way slower hands. Maybe they punch similarly hard, but the difference would be that Canelo would connect time and time again, while Lemieux would be missing and missing. And if he wears that ridiculous haircut covering his vision and poking his eyes like he did vs. GGG (what a ****** decision, that's the last opponent he should have dared wear such hair against), then Canelo would KO him even sooner than GGG did.

On paper sure, looking at how they fight, but I actually consider this an exception to the rule as far as stylistically being tailor made for someone. Canelo has low ring IQ and is slow and flat footed, he doesn't have the legs or jab of GGG to outbox him at a distance and control the distance, I don't see how Canelo can keep LeMule off of him, and I see him getting dropped like a dirty diaper win or lose.

Lara was a questionable decision in my book and even with Lara losing I blame Lara for throwing the fight away more than give credit to anything Canelo did that night.

And Cotto is a great name resume wise but is over the hill and was the smaller man that night, i'm not saying Canelo gets zero credit, but I think a younger fresher Cotto beats Canelo easily.

Yep. Good observation. Thing is, at least far as I can see... Lemieux does make improvements, but they're in smaller increments than Canelo's.
