Yep, totally agree with this here. A lot of those fighters name were huge when they had to make concessions to get the bigger names/fight. Those names were bigger than who GGG is now but they still took the shorter end of the pot to get the fight made, some went on to use those fights to make a name for themselves too.I agree with you, but you gotta take another factor in, Canelo's name was huge when he made concessions to fight Floyd, Pacquiao name was huge when he did it too.
Canelo is nowhere near the level of stardom Mayweather had, but neither Golovkin is near the level of stardom Pacquiao had nor Canelo.
If "I'm not businessman" really wants the fight he wil have to concede.................not the other way around.Comment

I don't think being at a catchweight makes him a diva. After all, he fought for the title at a catchweight so there were catchweights before him and there will be after him.
You know what's crazy? He won the title and defended it at a catchweight...ONCE. It's because GGG's team was b*tching every day so damn hard that you would think he was holding it hostage and having nonstop fights at that weight. Meanwhile, they were asking Ward for a catchweight. I don't blame them for b*tching--their in-the-ring resume is blah while Canelo's speaks for itself. The strong move quiet, the weak start riots. That's why I say, looking at Abel S., GGG has already lost.
Canelo hasn't shown himself to be a diva and he was willing to play the B-side with others, even hard asses like Cotto. It's the other side that needs to come off their high horse and stop pretending they are what they really aren't.Comment

I will take the former LOL. I am ok with guys fighting at their optimal weights.
If Canelo's is 155 or 158 now cool. And Golovkin's 160 that's cool too.
I just don't want to see something like DLH-Pac or Ward-Dawson coming out of this.
I get Sanchez's original point about Mayweather. That's huuuge money. I remember after Roy Jones fought Tito he's like I will go down for DLH. Ha ha ha.Comment

Sanchez faking it out and wanting a 5 Division retired champ is typical considering he said Brook was their toughest challenge. How the late great HBO sold this mockery as if that network has never hosted epic fights or don't know boxing is beyond me....I will take the former LOL. I am ok with guys fighting at their optimal weights.

i am amused just by GGG's trainer. He is a fuc!!up. 1st they said for the right fight they would go from 154-168 but 154 if its floyd only now not knowing the money is coming from Canelo. Canelo is the PPV now over Pac. Watch. And GGG will fight anybody at 168 besides Ward.
I am getting sick of hearing this guy talk **** as if he thinks he is GGG himself.
He will not be the A side no matter what in the Canelo fight. Canelo already has a nice resume at 26 years old. Proven one. Not like GGG. Will Canelo has been fighting HOFers GGG has yet to fight a quailty opponent. Oh sorry besides 147lb Brook and I doubt Brook ever even makes HOF.
Talk is cheap. Now its GGG side not wanting fight at 10 million dollars. Are u kidding me. 5 x better then he has made before. At very best he may get 40% but I am thinking 35% is all Canelo wants to give max.Comment

Dominic Wade whips all of them. That house arrest training regiment is beast!Even if Canelo is being a diva with GGG, he has conceded to fight Mayweather @ 152. He has beaten Trout, Kirkland, Angulo, Lara, and Cotto. He also just drew 51,000 people to Jerry's World in Dallas, and was fighting a relatively unknown fighter. He has a right to act like a diva when you compare his resume to that of GGG.Comment
