I guess he just got higher grades in the eye exam in comparison to Ward's latest outings.

NSB opinion- most hated guy on the site
Ward- Ugly style, win at all costs, no power and almost no knockouts at top level, no concern for entertaining the fans, has said in the past he shouldnt be expected to be in tough fights, repeatedly fouls, calls himself the son of god, has gone 5 years deliberately fighting people below his level, and actually had a fight lined up that was refused to be sanctioned due to the level of mismatch it was.
NSB opinion- most popular guy on the site
Seems strange to me that the fighter who is intent on entertaining the fans is liked least by people on here, but the fighter who doesnt give two ****s about the fans, is the most liked fighter on here? Can someone explain why this is cause it makes no sense to me?

Personally I admire both, GGG is more exciting but he's facing over matched opposition and it has become tiresome, for a year we've known he'll fight mismatch after mismatch and is still reluctant to give boxing fans genuine competitive fights GGG should warrant the same abuse Deontay Wilder gets.
With Ward we've known for year he's going to be facing the no.2 guy in the entirs sport for the unopposed no.1 spot. Ward fans accept Kovalev is the real deal and respect Kovalev the upmost as he's commanded the respect throygh his performances, GGG is respected just not to the same level Kovalev is as Krusher has fought at a higher level.
If anything Kovalev is the more respected of the three and Ward deserves huge credit as much as Kovalev for accepting the fight. I can understand why GGG fan boys are desperate to see Ward lose, GGG will not move up until Ward either loses or retires, he needs that weight class cushion between the two of them, he's been mute since Ward told him to shut his mouth or put up.
Fear is a powerful weapon.

But I would like to know what the hell you're talking about, the convo went:
--I posted my opinion of Golovkin beating current Ward, my reason is that he has looked poor in his recent fights.
--You responded with a question of who has Golovkin beaten for me to think that Golovkin would beat Ward and made some false claim(that I said Golovkin would win convincingly)
--I responded with the example of the same reason people think Golovkin beats Canelo despite having an inferior resume i.e the eye test.
Here's where things get lost in translation, a complete nonsensical response:
--You respond with "Ward and GGG have been facing the same level of competition. I guess you're gonna tell me Barrera wouldn't beat anyone GGG has right?".
Why are you telling me Ward and Golovkin have been facing the same competition? How is this helping your opinion that Ward beats Golovkin when Golovkin destroys and Ward apparently can't even stop Alexander Brand? You're argument isn't making any sense, plz clarify and avoid the tantrums. And this is besides the point that Golovkin has obviously faced much better competition than Ward in the last couple of years.Last edited by SplitSecond; 10-29-2016, 12:03 PM.

Barrera is as good if not better than anyone GGG has fought, Kessler and Froch are leagues above anything he has fought and wouod both likely beat GGG I'm absolutely certain a prime Kessler would stop GGG.
Whilst we are on the subject what is prime GGG's performance, his career highlight, his defining fight ? Wat legacy does he leave except for the KO streak against mediocre opposition ?
Ward had 19 months out with promotional issues yet still has a more resounding resume than GGG, you are aware Ward has never taken punches like the ones GGG was shipping versus Brook, being lifted on his feet by a career welter.
You are awre Ward is younger than GGG and will likely be around longer too cementing his legacy, whilst GGG is facing the Wade's, Monroe's, BJ Flounders and Heiland's of the middleweight divison.
