Wlad put hinself in this situation of getting a crappy fight or having to overpay Browne for a less crappy fight. Not fighting Joshua to pusue a specific belt gave Browne more leverage and now he's using it. Although Browne doesn't deserve a huge payday, I don't feel sorry for Wlad. He should have taken the Joshua fight. Give the fans what they want to see..

Wlad should just hang it up. He is ducking all the big guns & he wants the WBA to jump him passed all the guys ranked ahead of Browne. Wlad is done & he knows it. If he didn't think he was done he would be signed to fight Parker, Joshua or Ortiz. He's had a great career, made lots of money & is going to the HOF. If he doesn't fight Ortiz, AJ or Parker he is just tarnishing the end of his career. Turning down 2 different opportunities for titles against younger HWs & trying to get the #5 guy jumped passed the 1-4 to get a vacant title. How I hope the WBA says no to the title being on the line as it would force Klitschko to fight Ortiz for the vacant strap. No more 3 rematch clauses, underpaying & cherry picking inferior opponents like Pianeta & Mormeck. Have a farewell fight & retire or step up your game. he looked so good against Pulev but then he got old quick. He looked vulnerable against Jennings then lost to Fury. He won't be fighting AJ now or anytime soon. He wants a gift wrapped belt to retire as champion like his brother did fighting Charr. It's a shame because after the Pulev fight I thought he could boost his legacy cleaning out the division of Wilder, Fury, AJ, Parker & Ortiz. Good to see the sanctioning bodies not caving in to him.
