This is why the Hatton's left Warren, they couldn't handle it that Amir Khan was a much bigger name than Hatton outside of Manchester.. and that Amir was a millionaire before he even turned pro whereas Ricky didn't have a pot to piss in at the start of his career.
    Lol, your funny.

Face it Hatton's been running for about 4 years.Hatton should have fought Witter 2-4 years ago when instead Hatton was gaining prominence by beating the likes of Michael Stewart,Carlos Vilches,Dennis Pederson and Aldo Rios, wow he must've gained a lot from those fights huh?

Witter isn't the same league huh?
It's weird because he's Ranked #1 in the WBC #4 WBA #1 WBO.

When Witter gets the WBC title i wonder what excuses Hatton will use than. He'll probably stay at 147 until Witter retires.

Face it mate Hatton is running and always has been and always will be.
It wouldn't be the biggest fight since Benn v Eubank for several reasons, no one has heard of Witter outside of the committed boxing fans, Hatton may sell the pay per view but it would not rank anywhere near to the hype, publicity and overall expectancy.
Eubank and Benn outside of being awesome fighters brought so much more to the ring in the form of one being an eccentric showman, the other being a classic never say die warrior, add to that the hatred at the time between them and you have a super fight, Hatton and Witter just don't have anything near to that selling power as a duo.
Hatton does not need Witter, Witter needs Hatton.
If Witter is so good how come he isn't holding or hasn't ever held a world recognised major title?
Why should Hatton fight Witter, what does he offer?
As I said Witter is a good fighter, a great domestic fighter who has yet to prove to me (a fellow Brit)that he can cut it at world level!

I have no idea what to think of him, being that Americans haven't seen him on tv since the Zab Judah fight.

From what I've heard and read about him, he is a much better puncher than he was previously. He knocked down Lovemore N'Dou 2 times or something, which means hes gotta be a monstrous puncher. I would like to see him against a recognizable name on American airwaves before I'm sold on him as a legitimate title contender.

Hatton had trouble with the speed and boxing skills of Collazo, if he fought Witter he would've been embarassed.
Witter is the most underrated fighter in the game right now.
