Ok fair enough, GGG ducked Ward. But Ward never had a belt at Middleweight, was never in the same weight as GGG and crucially was not a mandatory fight. There are pretty big distinctions between the two scenarios here.

Odd thing about this statement is that a case can be made that Golovkin wasn't even open to the idea of a Ward fight in 2016 because he was hoping to fight Canelo - or at least the Cotto / Canelo winner. That's not to say he would have fought Ward if he hadn't have been WBC mando - quite likely he wouldn't anyway - but the point is kinda moot when there was what appeared to be a much more desirable option available.
K2 made what, at the time at least, looked like an entirely sensible choice.

In fact I said in the post you just responded to that they probably wouldn't have fought Ward anyway.
But yeah, that was an insightful rejoinder. Admirable laconism. well done.

they bash Canelo as he was holding a middleweight title yet refusing to face the no1 in the division, they bash Canelo as after the Khan fight he called GGG into the ring and acted like a big man yet then ran away like a girl, GGG has never fought at 168, he wasn't holding a belt in that division he didn't call Ward into the ring after one of his fights and said he would fight him, thats why GGG doesn't get the **** that Canelo does, if you cant understand that you need to follow another sport
