The fight offer is there my friend ggg team whining and complaining when they have everything to gain. The world would see ggg as the star! He can then make more money then the hit he would take for this one... Ggg needs to sign. Don't defend him! Send him a Twitter and tell him we don't want big dram show, we want fight signed lol

Dawson offered Ward a fight at 168. He was the one who came up with that idea and Ice Man even verified it. You vilify Ward for a decision that Chad made? It's called taking responsibility for your actions.
There's a reason that everyone believes Ward in this situation and there's just a few hardcores who cling onto the idea that Golovkin actually wanted this fight.
However, I don't attach any blame to Golovkin for not fighting Ward any more than I do to Canelo for not (yet) fighting Golovkin. Whatever his words in the past his only obligation to fight GGG evaporated when he gave up the strap. Likewise Golovkin never had any obligation to fight Ward whatever he or his team may have said about 154 - 168 - the unspoken caveat of such statements- like 'i'm not afraid of anyone' has always been 'if the money's worth the risk'. Still, just as Canelo would have been well advised to drop the strap and keep his mouth shut about Golovkin, Golovkin may have been better advised to just STFU about 168 whatever his (or Abel's) intentions at the time.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 10-21-2016, 04:09 AM.
