That Golovkin needs Canelo to make 10+ millions, but also Canelo needs Golovkin to make 40+ millions, therefore the flat fee doesn't make sense.

There has to be a % split. 25-75, 35-65, I don't know, but not a flat fee. It's the biggest fight for both.

The only way Canelo lands a fight this big is if he fights Mayweather again and I doubt Floyd would fight him at full 154, so it wouldn't be easy to make.
Then he has some decent fights to be made against Saunders, Jacobs, even Brook, not non of those would bring him into the top5 P4P rankings and make him 40+ millions. Even a Cotto rematch wouldn't sell that well.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Another way is if another star is created five years from now, or ten years from now, and faces a 31 or 35 years old Canelo. Maybe risking against Golovkin is bad for future mega fights for him. I don't think so. I think even if he loses, he regains the respect from the boxing community, and he has a big chance of winning the fight.

It's not that, it's that it was Kovalev first shot at a belt and a 6 digit payday, dummy. Maybe he should accept 5 digit offers now cause he did a few years back?

You're arguing with the wrong guy. I don't get into that nonsense. It's boring as hell. I just knew some people were going to say 'Mayweather' because they can't seem to accept that he's retired.

Alvarez ain't making that kind of money for Bumlovkin. Don't delude yourself. He walks away with $20 million TOPS...

GGG claims to want to unify the division.

People refuse to take into account the whole "late 2017" part of this equation. Who the **** knows where Golovkin will be then? Accepting any split for a fight at least a year away, considering all that can change in that time, would be ****ing idiotic considering the potential changes in negotiating leverage Golovkin might have.

Give me a ****ing break with this crap, seriously.

Then why did Oscar offer a 10 millions flat fee? he's offering Golovkin like 40% of the purse. Strange.

I said Mayweather, but I also said, that it's not gonna happen. So Golovkin is the only option for Canelo to sell near 1 million.

Nobody. GGG will never make that kind of money without ginger. ever

He should take the chance, beat Canelo and then demand for a bigger slice in the rematch

Canelo is the A side now and thats the cold hard truth
