Split the US income 70/30 in Canelo's favour, let Canelo keep the Mexican and GGG gets the rest of the world would be fair right now.

But in a years time GGG could be boxing's only undisputed 4 belt world champion and a bigger star than Mr 250k in the US.

GGG should focus on getting the WBO belt off Saunders, that was always his main goal and excuse for not fighting Ward. This fight is dead in the water, the fighters want it, De La Hoya doesn't. When Canelo moves up to 160 they should talk about the fight then. But GGG should unify the division then go up to 168 and fight for a title, he is nearly 35 for f***s sake.

Floyd also had done much more and had other options..if GGG turns down Canelo where does he go?

That's much better than 100-0. Floyd made 2.5x of his guarantee

What were his other options for next level money? Main difference is both guys wanted it. Where does Canelo go if he keeps ducking the main man in his division, and the biggest fight in boxing?

Good one. Watch them backtrack on that real quick.[/QsUOTE]

I actually mentioned that to some friends last week. Only way if he gets all international pay per view s and 10,00000. Connello can have everything else..

Eh ok. It didn't even do that great in the US after Floyds massive boost. I don't remember Hatton Collazo being a big deal at all, other than him getting exposed a bit

                      You just proved me right.

In boxing if you're not big in the usa then you haven't really made it yet.

Only Europeans care about European fighters.

There's a reason why all those b level euro fighters aspire to make it in America not the other way around.
