I remember early in the fight Canelo hit Mayweather flush a couple times and Floyd wasn't even fazed. The fight we want to see is Canelo vs GGG not Canelo vs 40yo retired Mayweather.

Canelo has developed a lot, particularly in his ring IQ and sense of urgency, and if May came out of retirement today for some reason, I would pick Canelo. But, Money is not an active boxer anymore, the fight already took place, and the results were undeniable. You can always say that one guy might beat another at a particular point in time but the fight has been done and that's that.

Floyd knew he'd lose a rematch so he retired

Probably beats him now, Mayweather has declined a lot since their fight. I don't think Canelo has improved that much but more experienced for sure.

canelo is way too big for floyd now, the comparison is out of context ... P4P floyd is the better fighter no doubt...

                  2 reasons

                  1. If a fight between the 2 was somehow to occur, the WBO would be in line for a hefty payday if their title was on the line

                  2. Canelo's name is mud right now with lots of boxing fans and it's better to have it associated with Mayweather than Khan, Smith or ducking GGG

I still say FMJ wins a lopsided decision. But hey what else could you expect him to say since he's obviously in ODLH and TR's pocket. Remember the WBO is a litigant along with GBP in the suit against Haymon. Think about it for a second. How often do you see Haymon fighters getting a shot at a WBO belt? Exactly. So always expect him to pick against and talk down any and all Haymon affiliated fighters.
