As for belts, well that could be a stretch as champs these days tend to place belts in a cabinet and fight ruined/tune up fighters until retirement. Boxing needs fighters like Lucas as he shows nothing but respect for boxing and his opponents, in a nut shell...he is a proud man.
Don't watch, but also don't complain when boxing only has poster boys with managed careers. Lucas has given me enough entertainment thus far to continue supporting him and show the promotors that boxing doesn't just need showmen and ballet dancers in the ring.

C'mon, the guy is a joy to watch and can box when needed, but fell in love with his power. I welcome Lucas back to the ranks, which are more interesting with him.

Too Hard To Make 140
Lucas is an exciting fighter and fun to watch.
He says he'll be more comfortable at 147 but what's really going on is an older fighter who just can't make his best weight (140) anymore. When that happens it's time to retire but not too many fighters do.Comment
