Super under rated. 32-0 at middleweight I believe.

solid, but nothing overly special in terms of real world class.

He was never the recognized champ at any weight and never really beat the best in his division.

He's what I'd call a European world champion.

Nowhere near hall of fame level if that's what you'd be asking.

        Against who?

Only win off the top of my mind at MW was Edison Miranda.

He was solid. Could hang with all of the top guys, just came up short many times. Beating him in his prime is a good thing to have on your resume and should not be dismissed.

Kofi and Ayala would be in Golovkin's top 5.

ZERO chance of hall of fame and definitely nowhere near A or A-.

Neither of those guys were top 10 MWs in what was probably the weakest era of MWs in forever.

his best wins at MW are Miranda and Gevor who were solid top 5 MWs.

Overrated, very weak champion. MW run is extremely overrated, he basically beat noone at MW. Even Miranda is a meh fighter IMO. His wins are somehow exaggerated as if he dominated MW too.. which he didn't. Several close decision wins.

He beat Murray clearly, but it was close. That's pretty much his level - slightly above Martin Murray.
