Nigel Benn was intimidating because he was a pure animal.
The way he refused to stop fighting(& came back to win) against McClellan was frightening.

Yeah, Benn was a nightmarish figure that night (for McClellan). Nobody had ever made McClellan back off like that, and I'd never seen fear in McClellan's eyes like that before. McClellan was supposed to be the most dangerous man on the planet.

Benn that night would make me way more scared than the knockout machine at the start of his career.

In a way Oliver McCall is also scary. Now matter how hard you hit this "freak", you cannot get him out of there.

I think Mike Tyson post-prison looked much more intimidating than pre-prison. But some/most of his opponents were more intimidated by the younger Mike.
