I got that but this seems to be hinting at the Joshua fight not happening or why else would they be saying this? It's like they know something we don't (obviously).

It'll be a shame if it doesn't happen but they haven't said no yet

I understand the dynamics from the perspective of a fighter being ready and confident, but I wish boxing was more like the NBA or NFL in terms of the best stepping in and facing each other now. Regardless of a prospect receiving a loss, each fight is supposed to make him better....

I'm ok with it : it states both might fight the same date vs. Pulev and Browne..not bad...also so what that the WBA is not involved? why should they sanction it isn't Oritz the Interim? and if Wlad wins he gets the IBF...I don't get it.

I like the stand from Team Klitschko.. People complaining on missing AJ fight should realize that Wlad would lose his #2 spot with WBA if he chose to fight AJ without WBA putting their belt on line.. There isn't time to waste at the end of your career..
WBA needs to get their **** right & sort out Browne/Ortiz whoever qualifies.. But if Ortiz is scheduled to fight Scott that leaves Browne(a stay busy fight) unless Scott mysteriously injures himself & Ortiz is suddenly available.. If and when WBA agrees Wlad should fight whoever & hopefully win to clash with Joshua for his chance at winning 2/3 major belts..
The WBO belt seems out of reach now with WBO ordering a 4-man fight to award the belt..

Also the fact that Vladimir has had no fight in 2016.. he wants to fight before the end of the year, regardless.

This is such crap. I don't want to hear any mess about belts. Fight the best available. He should be fighting Joshua regardless if the WBA is up for grabs or not. Why not get the IBF and IBO now and get the WBA later? Because he likes the WBA so much more it can't wait? Wlad-AJ is the fight people want to see. I'm not about to see Klit fight Browne. Are you kidding me?!? This is one of the most pathetic excuses for a fight not happening...

Like I said in #17, if he fights AJ now then its bye bye WBA.. With WBO belt almost gone out of his reach, he cannot afford to lose more belts if he ever wishes to regain them.. Unification fights are voluntary & a lot of pain to make than mandatory or top contenders within your own division..
