I doubt it. it was well placed for sure, but ggg was pulling away from it. it was a bit too far at the end...brook was reaching by the time it made impact.

Golovkin isn't going to fight Jacobs the same way that he fought Brook. He rarely if ever commits to a wild, wide punch like that, leaving him open for a counter.

The accuracy of Brook's shot is great, but it's the timing and distance of it that is slightly off. I know that Brook needed to steady himself before throwing, but it's too bad he couldn't have struck with that left hand instead of just measuring Golovkin with it.

Its because GGG is the overall better fighter. Although Danny is Bigger and faster, GGG is a deceptive tactician where he gives fighters who are far faster than him trouble and has deceptive timing and scary power.

But in terms of that shot, if GGG took them in bunches, absolutely! The only difference is that GGG would take an approach similar to Stevens and Lemieux where he was more defensive due to their power.

Its funny, because people keep talking about Jacobs power, but when you go look for a highlight reel of Jacobs on youtube... There are barely any legitimate KO's.

What you see is clip after clip of jacobs wobbling people, and flurrying and sometimes them going down, most the time them not. And then the ref jumping in IF they go down. Most aren't given a chance to get back up, even though the are clearly not out or even badly hurt.

Reminds me of Oscar style flurry till the ref stops it bs.

Jacobs doesn't have that kind of power, and he doesn't have that kind of power on straight punches. His power is on wild looping shots in flurries.

If they can hang with GGG that long. Which most people doubt it Smart money is on GGG to end it way before that.

Jacobs will NEVER EVER get in the ring with GGG. He still has flashbacks of the russian that took his sole, and GGG would do worse.

Mora dropped the guy, dropped him. Mora may be the most feather fisted guy in the division....Jacobs should fight Lee......It would be a good fight and Jacobs might take it
