It's terrible if you think you will lose. It's not if you think you will gain more genuine belts, getting crowned the king in the division, not to mention the millions of dollars more that would follow. I see that the incentive to win is no longer there. It has no more value for these types of fans. It's sad. Everything starts in the premise of getting beat already.

If you talking about Ward taking risks by moving to LHW well he couldnt exactly make SMW anymore. Also why didn't he fight Bute or Dirrell at SMW? He hasnt fought a live body since the super 6. Kovalev has never moved up he is cleaning out his division. Gonzalez has cleaned out his division before he moved up. So again why can't Golovkin do the same thing and again I ask you NAME THE ELITE FIGHTERS IN GOLOVKIN'S DIVISION

look up the term elite....he hasnt defeated any of the top 5 middleweights bro....regardless of reason, he hasnt proven he isnt the best yet...so far its all speculation based off the way he beats lower top ten guys and fringe guys

GGG is a very good fighter but unproven vs A level opposition and the best in his respective division.


He hasnt fought Eubank, BJS, Jacobs(yet), Lee, Quillin, Canelo...he beats a few of them and its clear he is the man at 160...not based off speculation

Weeks before the Matthysse fight I posted it was a 50/50 fight. So I'm not one of those people who predicted a landslide favoring Lucas who was not undefeated coming to the Garcia fight. That was 2 months ago and things have changed. The WBA upheld the 75/25 split. Jacobs may even have to fight his mando.

That's the standard split if it goes to purse bids, nothing to do with what they're able to negotiate first. I doubt they reduced their offer once it was mandated.
