The way Fury pissed away his win its pretty much back to the Wlad sweepstakes, except Wlad is old and we already saw him lose so the sweepstakes is even more boring than before

Why were they so confident about getting the WBA belt?

Browne and Oquendo have to get shots after court cases and Ortiz is their No.1 contender and interim champ.

Just sounds like an excuse to pull out of a fight that they never had any intention of having.

in all fairness, wlads rematch clause is put there so he can have a shot of winning his belts back.. obviously he cant now fight fury, but hes probs not going to fight joshua just for only the IBF belt. I find hearn to be pretty open about these things, he's totally honest about %'s and how he puts on shows, watch some of his in depth iFL interviews.

Any reason why? He's lucky to get an immediate shot at any belt based on losing all in his last fight. I should think at this stage of his career he would be more interested in the money than belts. Cash out for what? $10M with this fight?

And which other fighter can he fight for 2 belts???

Not surprised in the least bit, if Wlad is already considering another opponent, then we can safely assume that negotiations have pretty much fell to the wayside. It's a shame really, was looking forward to seeing boxing end the year on a high note.

It's true there's no-one else he can fight for anything but each belt at a time (until we find out if wba will sanction it), but he (legally) had a 'chance' at getting 3 of his belts back in a fight with fury that fell through twice, and ultimately cancelled. That included winning his lineage back too. Maybe with a limited number of fights left in him, the ibf isn't enough for him. I think if this falls through, he should chase the one belt he never had, his brothers, the wbc.

He is still ranked #2 by both WBO & WBA, so he was in line for 2 title shots if not for IBF..

The moment he wins a belt he will be removed from the #2 spot on the other org, so there goes a chance of winning that belt back unless all stars align for a unification..

That dude is beyond the stage where he needs to cash out man.. For him its about getting his belts back.. he made 15mil fighting Fury, & this fight with Joshua was supposed to be around 30mil(GBP)
