I'm legit asking for your opinion, if they order Heiland what should they do?

In my honest opinion I think golovkin overall is one of the most talented boxers today, but we'll never see this talent put to test.... surely the sanctioning bodies need to take some responsibility for the **** fights
I agree with most of that, particularly the bold.
As far as the question, I am of the mind that boxing is a delicate blend of career and pride. If it were me, I would speak to the sanctioning body to air my displeasure. If they refused, I would make a statement by dumping the belt and publicly drawing attention to the farce.

That's me though, and I'm a person who has done extreme things to stand by my principles, including leaving a very good job. What do I expect of THEM? If he wants a safe and simple path to retirement in a couple years, just go with it. If he wants any kind of legacy though, time is fleeting. Pretty much every honest boxing fan admits it, including fans of his.

He needs to go off the path if he wants to secure a place in history that will be remembered. That's what greats do, and he's perfectly capable. Loma is going after big game. Ward is fighting Kovalev. There are ballsy guys going for glory. If that's not Golovkin's thing, that's cool. When extreme fans expect me to give him credit for great feats when he hasn't done any, that's when I mock the fans, but not Golovkin himself. That's his business, his personal choice.

HBO and K2 should make fights with Blanco, Heiland, and Johnson on regular tv. He realistically could fight one each month in a row and be cleared of all his joke mandatories.

Going on regular tv the orgs and these crap fighters would get significantly less money, and maybe stop this crap. Meanwhile Golovkin could increase his exposure.

Heiland admits he turned down an offer from Golovkin in the past b/c it was too low of money.

Heiland has only 1-2 fights over the past year vs nobodies. Johnson & Blanco haven't fought in a year!!! How the **** can you make these guys mandatories? Korobov, Lee, N'Dam would clean house on all three of those guys. Let Canelo fight Heiland for his 160lbs debut...

"I had to make a very hard decision in my career because I wanted the best for me...you know...I know boxing... I wasn't ******. My mgmt pressured be to play along with the belts in a division I had gone way too frustrated with. Boxing has always been my whole life and I know what greats had done in boxing before me, so I don't regret anything. What should've happened was I should've went to 168 by my early 30s. That state of me would've beaten DeGale easily.

I only blame myself for trusting the Herman Brothers too much with Abel. Well at least everyone knows I tried to unify all the belts back then, but winning a belt at 168 against Badou Jack was my most memorable fight and title. Again I believe had I moved up earlier in my career I could've fought Ward. That's life. You live and learn. I never knew Lil'G tshirts would've made me millions so I cant complain. My kids are in college too and people still think I'm white." -ggg

Promised what? To put on a show? Does that. Knocks out everyone he has faced in nearly a decade. Delivered on that.

Did he PROMISE to fight Ward?? Nope.
Do YOU want him to fight Ward? Yes.
Do you get in the ring with Ward nope?
Do you handle Golovkins fights or manage him? No.

So tell me what has he promised? The only things he has PROMISED himself is that he wants to give people a show. And that one time Stevens brought up Golovkin's dead brothers that he was going to hurt Stevens. And he delivered on both of those.

Bring up 154-168 that SANCHEZ said not Golovkin.

I will wait for these "Promises"

There is NO WAY any other fighter on these forums that has to go through half as much to be see as half as good regardless of race than Golovkin. Prove me wrong.

Ha ha ha. that actually gave me a chuckle, but sadly enough that's all too easily the way things could go ... the way things are going. OK much of it's not GGGs fault (at least IMO) but you play the hand you're dealt and get what you get. In most cases K2 have made what seemed to be safe and justifiable choices at each turn but nonetheless major fights are still eluding Golovkin. Perhaps it's time to change tack. Or not. Of course, as pointed out by Foxx above it's Golovkin's career to do with as he chooses and cruising to a comfortable retirement being remembered as a 'what if' is cool if that's all he wants. That said, I'm not really convinced that fighting the likes of Jack and Degale will have him engraved in the annuls of boxing history, but it's a step in the right direction.
