I have only seen him against Juan Carlos Gomez. He didn't impress me, to be honest. So my answer is "No, I don't think he will be champ one day!".

I saw him fight Maskaev...he's nothing out of the ordinary. Long reach and height, but no overbearing skills or fight changing punching power or anything.

So no, he won't be a future champion in my opinion.

No way in hell he becomes anything more than a journeyman. He was so overprotected as a fighter, and to be an undefeated Olympian with no public appeal says alot about the mans talent. I saw him against Oleg Maskaev on FNF last year, and he looked atrocious. Him and Friday Ahunanya type fighters are whats wrong with boxing today. Guys who are complacent about whats going on, more concerned with the pain of fatigue and punches, than the pain a fight fan goes through watching that sort of nonsense.

He's a poor man's Audley Harrison. In other words, thoroughly and comprehensively mediocre. I'd love for him to win something, but the cold truth is he won't. Ever.

lol,,,,yea sure. being whupped by a shot maskeav and blown up cruiserweight in gomez is a great prerequisite for a champion
